Lettings team are awful. Took over management of the building I live in recently and, had nothing but issues with the tenants they have moved in. Building is now a horrible place to live.
Very polite and efficient to begin with but this gradually tailed off as no offers ere received. Moved agents eventually as they were not consistent in their communications and felt like they were not 'on the case', had to chase them continually. They didn't seem to have enough staff for the workload. I was expecting a written apology as a polite goodbye, but nothing - not even out of courtesy. Very disappointed.
During a recent purchase of a bungalow by my elderly mother I found certain of Berrymans staff to be aggressive and threatening in our dealings with them. For example, being told the sale would collapse unless we exchanged and completed within the next three working days, despite our solicitor having had no contact with the vendors conveyancer at that point in time. This silly tactic may have worked on my elderly mother, but it just made my sisters and my own opinion of estate agents drop even lower i.e that anything would be stated if it was thought it would achieve a sale.
