Fantastic, I usually don't write review, but I believe it's good to share good experiences,Basically I got issue with my iPhone as it suddenly stop working and doesn't power on at all I took it to Apple and after diagnosing they quoted me sky high price which is similar to a new iPhone. I decided to give a go ahead with a different company so I Googled few of them and chose THE LAPTOP SHOP BURNHAM. I took my phone to them and they diagnosed it while I was waiting and I was told it has got a small issue and they can fix it same day and the price is very cheap so I agreed and in the evening I got a call it's ready for collection. I collect it and it's working great with no issues.Thanks a lot
Just came and picked up my iPad which was left in the store absolutely mangled I never thought it would be fixable! Very quick service and my I pad is looking good as new was browsing at a few laptops in the window as well some nice deals on some equipment will have to get myself a treat some time soon! Wish I could rate 10 stars lol fab shop
would like to say a massive thank you to the guy in the shop today who helped out my little brother! Hes been wanting a custom build pc for almost 3 years and everywhere we looked was overpriced! Blown away with the rates and customer service in the shop! Easily found and nice to browse around excellent service.
Excellent customer service! My laptop had crashed - it contained important data. The technician repaired the problem within a few hours, much to my relief. Excellent job! Without the speedy service I would have been behind with work! Super thankful for the service 10/10!
Purchased a second hand Dell Vostro for a generous price, as someone who works with computers 6 days of the week, I'm quite fussy about what I personally use.I came to upgrade the hard drive to a SSD to give it a performance boost.When I opened the laptop to fit the drive, I found that the existing drive had been fitted into place with a glue gun.Whilst I appreciate that replacement drive fittings can be hard to track down for laptops, as they're usually specific to particular models, doing a bodge job using a glue gun is totally unacceptable, especially for a laptop being sold by an allegedly professional shop. You risk heat damage to the drive and surrounding components using a glue gun in there, the glue was rock hard, hard to remove and presents risks when removing the glue, to both the components underneath and the drive itself.When I phoned the shop to see what recourse they could offer me, I politely said "I'm not necessarily implying that you did this, but I'm upset that it wasn't checked if it wasn't yourselves".The member of staff then told me they routinely do this and that "it's OK".Speaking as a senior professional in the field, I can tell you that in 15 years of commercial experience, I have never, ever seen anyone glue gun a hard drive into place. This is absolutely not "OK", if not only for the aforementioned risks, for the massive inconvenience and risks you cause the next poor person that has to open it up.I decided not to waste further time driving up from Weston to take them up on their offer of removing the glue, as they didn't appear confident they could fit it properly.I have now wasted my own valuable time sourcing a proper fitting, fully removing the glue, and will now be to carrying out a full clean and service on the laptop as I now have no confidence whatsoever that this has been done properly by the shop.I will not being doing business with this lot again and would recommend the same to anyone reading.
