Good view of the sea. Horrible coffee. Milk added by counter staff. It was cold. Sausage roll soggy and tough. We had to pay 10p for imitation vinegary brown sauce. We were told we had to pay 10p because people stole the sachets. It reminded me of England in 1944. A miserable depressing experience.
Go here for a toasted t.cake and a pot of tea most Thurs. Staff always pleasant and the dog is allowed it which is always nice in the cold weather. They also have dog biscuits.
Food and drinks in a perfectly respectable cafe. A big win for me when I discovered they serve gluten free avocado and courgette. Delicious! It provided respite from a wet and windy walk on the beach.
Stopped here for ice creams. We sat outside enjoying the autumn sunshine. The ice creams were locally produced and delicious service friendly and welcoming. They even have ice cream for dogs and we sat watching a lovely dog very delicately eating its ice cream. Nice place to sit and rest for a while.
Great little are on the sea front. You can sit inside or at tables outside.We had delicious ice creams, rum and raisin and mint chop chop are to die for!They also serve home made food like cottage pie and Sunday roasts, beef, pork or chicken.Staff very friendly, literally service with a smile. Well worth a visit.
